What we collect

Your account email and password (held by our authentication provider, Supabase), the profile you fill in (name, handle, bio, optional ORCID), what you post, comment, save, like, cite and report, and which Evidence Cards you open. If you subscribe to Plus, the app store you bought it through tells us the subscription is active; we never see your payment details.

How we use it

To run the service: showing your posts, ranking your feed by the topics you chose, paying creators a share of Plus revenue based on which Evidence Cards subscribers open, and reviewing reports. AI features (Research Translator, Ask the Paper, Claim Check) send the relevant paper text or your draft claim to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce an answer; every AI answer is logged with the sources it used.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't show advertising. We don't use your content to train AI models.

Your rights

You can edit your profile in the app, block and report other people, and delete your account. Questions: privacy@cit.education.
